Stop What You're Doing Right Now

..........and read this book. "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" ugh- my emotions. This author took my brain on a roller coaster ride. I've read over ten books just this summer but this one takes the award for the best read thus far. I kept seeing this book being discussed in not one but TWO book club groups on facebook with nothing but great reviews. It's the story of a reclusive hollywood movie icon who happened to be married seven times. Her entire life she refused exclusive interviews until she summons and unknown and unpopular writer- Monique Grant to tell her life story. Monique and Evelyn form and unlikely bond until its evident that Evelyn has ulterior motives for bringing Monique into her life. The end of the books throws you some shocking twists that I still haven't recovered from.

This is the second book I have read by Taylor Jenkins Reid and I am more and more impressed. She recently published "Daisy Jones & The Six" which was a Reese Witherspoon Book club pick. It's written in an interview style and tells the story of the spiraling downfall of a wildly successful 70's rock band. That book gave me ALL the Stevie Nick's vibes.
